PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Students in the Physics program take part in active research, which gives them study opportunities at the forefront of physics. The areas of Study include:

  • Atomic and optical physics
  • Condensed matter physics
  • High energy physics and particle astrophysics
  • Theoretical physics

The graduate in Physics can find jobs opportunities in Italy and abroad in industries involving new technologies regardless of the final products, in service companies aiming to innovation and, more generally, in all activities requiring understanding and modelling of processes and ability in analysis and testing. These include start-ups and high tech industries, software and consulting companies, research centres and public administration. They can also teach physics and mathematics in schools of different levels.
